Rules
You shall not have other Chens before Him. Jongdae-centric, Jongdae/EXO, Jongdae/non-EXO, Jongdae/OC, Jongdae/self-insert, Jongdae/OT3+ only.
Honour Chen and all content. All content allowed, except mentions of family members Jongdae has never publicly and voluntarily spoken about. Use appropriate tags, archive warnings and G/T/M/E content rating.
You shall not be governed by word counts. No word count limit.
Remember the theme to keep it holy. Work may revolve around the current theme, but it is not necessary.
Honour your goal. Work has to be completed upon submission.
You may commit adultery. Multiple submissions allowed.
You may take the name of the lord your Chen in vain. Feel free to talk about your participation in the fest.
You shall not bear witness to your work. Maintain authorship anonymity until reveals. Work must be new but does not have to be standalone. You may cross-post to other platforms and add to series, collections, etc. after reveals.
You shall make idols. Must have an AO3 account.
You shall not steal. No plagiarism.

What counts as a Jongdae fic? Anything that adheres to the first Chenmandment (see: rule #1).
Does the point of view matter? Nope! Any POV is welcome. It doesn't have to be Jongdae's, a main character's, or even a living thing's.
I don't understand the theme. We're flexible with the theme. You can interpret it however you want, no justification needed (see: rule #4). We welcome all Jongdae fics, no exception! If you'd like further explanations on the current theme, feel free to contact us.
Can I self-prompt? Writers are encouraged to self-prompt, as we don't have prompting periods. We may occasionally tweet prompts that are up for grabs!
Can I avoid tagging a spoiler? Yes, for a price. We bat for both teams: the element of surprise is important, but so are our readers' boundaries. Instead, please tick Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings or use #untagged warnings, #untagged characters or #untagged pairings where appropriate (see: rule #2).
Can I stay anonymous after reveals? Of course! Please specify via DM, email, or anywhere in the sign-up form.
I'd like an extension/I'd like to drop out. Feel free to contact us for extensions or drop-outs! All reasons are acceptable, including no reason at all. There are no hard feelings if you ghost us, but we do appreciate transparent communication!
